View full detailsI got this for myself and the shorter version for my son. We both love them! It's nice using percussion cap style caps rather than the paper strips as they hold quite securely even when running around with them.
His rifle worked perfectly out of the box, but mine had weak detonation until it began to wear in a bit. Not a big issue and it resolved itself, so no points lost on that.

We are putting on a small reenactment event for April 19th and these muskets will work perfectly. They are good looking, sturdy, and a nice prop for our Mourn Arms exercise. They were delivered within days with no problems.
Good rifle, solid built and whatnot. Only complaint is that the spring of the firing mechanism isn't strong enough to fire half of the caps that came with the gun. You have to pull it all the way back and then let go with your thumb.
They respond quickly and efficiently for any problems
