Not bad

Good rifle, solid built and whatnot. Only complaint is that the spring of the firing mechanism isn't strong enough to fire half of the caps that came with the gun. You have to pull it all the way back and then let go with your thumb.

Fantastic service and quality product

My kid really likes his new toy Kentucky rifle! Our original product was damaged during shipping and Parris fixed the problem quickly. Thank you so much!

Pretty good overall

Ordered 8 of these for reenactment purposes with students. They match the description, and seem to be pretty good quality.

Pros:
1. The metal bands are well attached to the barrel
2. The trigger and hammer are both metal and functional
3. The nipple does a good job of holding the single-shot cap in place
4. The quality seems pretty decent overall, although only time will tell
5. Nice long size makes it useable for older kids or adults without it feeling like a miniature gun

Cons:
1. Very light (this may be a pro for some, but I wanted them to have a bit of heft)
2. Some of the hammers are a bit loose, I'm worried they may come off eventually
3. The trigger guard is sized for children's hands, so pretty small for an adult
4. Firing caps is very loud and a bit blinding because of how close the cap is to your face when you shoulder and fire the rifle. Sometimes a bit of the cap breaks off when fired and flies out, which could hit you in the face if you are shouldering the rifle.
