I came across a vintage cap gun at a thrift store recently and wanted to finally get caps for the few I have acquired over the years as well. I was looking for a while and realized there were not many places to get single shot caps. Lo and behold a name appeared, and one I recognized as well. Reviews indicated they work, with some variance, so I felt pretty good about buying these. Ordering them was easy, and they shipped quick. They were received well. I did find that shipping had caused some of the pieces with the powder to fall out of the plastic holders. They carefully slid back into place and all seems just fine. They might still fall out again.. They work good, no duds so far. However not every cap makes the same sized bang, which is noticeable but easy to overlook while enjoying a working mini model gun. Would recommend. 4-4.5 stars

I ordered these caps because I had purchased some earlier at Christmas time for a musket which I purchased for a family member. Thank you for your question! Our #917 Single‑Shot Caps are designed to fit most traditional pull‑off, flintlock‑style toy mechanisms. While we can’t guarantee compatibility with every vintage model, if the cap seats firmly on the post without wobbling, it should work properly.
Fit can vary slightly depending on wear and the exact post size on the antique toy, but in most cases the caps slide on securely and function as expected.

I decided to buy these caps for a project I'm doing. I ordered three of them, and I received two back. I emailed them, and I thought my email was blocked because I wasn't a vendor or in their listing, which did frustrate me a bit. Because I thought my message was blocked/ignored completely.
It wasn't until I refreshed the page and saw a reply that my other caps would be shipped on Monday. I got them around a week ago. Overall, they worked great so far.
